Victim Airlifted In Hunterdon County Crash: Authorities

A crash between a car and a truck in Hunterdon County led to a person being airlifted to a hospital on the afternoon of Monday, March 25, authorities said.

At 4:17 p.m., first responders were dispatched to Route 202 and Wertsville Road in East Amwell for a crash between a car and a tractor trailer, the City of Lambertville Fire District said.

The injured victim was removed from the vehicle without extrication, firefighters said. They were transported to a nearby hospital trauma center via a New Jersey State Police North Star helicopter, firefighters said.

The condition of the victim is unknown.
